The ancient sanskrit theatre recognized by UNESCO as 'Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity'
In February 2012: mudra presented two spectacular evenings that show off Koodiyattam, A 200 year old theatre, in all its splendour.
A 10 memeber team from India lead by Margi Madhu will stage two important episodes from the epic Ramayana.
First day : THORANA YUDHAM : - An episode from Ramayana where King Ravana meets his match in Hanuman and Lanka is turned to ashes
Second Day: BALI VADHAM : - Another incident in Ramayana where Lord Rama kills Bali as he battles his brother Sugreeva.
